D-Pressin Nasal Spray 5 ml is used as replacement therapy in central cranial diabetes insipidus. It is also used to manage temporary polyuria (extreme urination) or polydipsia (extreme thirst) after head trauma or surgery in the pituitary gland.
D-Pressin Nasal Spray 5 ml contains Desmopressin, which mimics the natural hormone vasopressin and works by reabsorbing water from the kidneys, which controls excessive thirst and urination. Thus, it prevents dehydration.
