Medicinal Benefits

Dermiscab Lotion is a skin medicine that has antiparasitic properties. It contains Lindane and Cetrimide. Dermiscab Lotion is used to relieve the pain, discomfort and itchiness caused by skin infections such as scabies. Lindane shows insecticidal (insect-killing) properties. It exerts a neurotoxic effect on the nerve cells of the causative organism and causes paralysis and death of the insect and its eggs. Cetrimide functions as an antiseptic by virtue of its bactericidal and insecticidal nature. It also exhibits detergent and emulsifying qualities that enhance its surface action, thereby relieving itching, redness, inflammation, and irritation of the skin. Dermiscab Lotion is hence used to treat surface-level itches and superficial infections.

What if I have taken an overdose of Dermiscab Lotion

Never use more than the suggested amount of Dermiscab Lotion. Even though overdose poisoning from Dermiscab Lotion is not a frequently reported incident, proactive case management is necessary from a life-saving standpoint. When used alone, lindane is linked to purposeful adverse effects that include anaemia, hyperglycemia, pulmonary oedema, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, cramping in the muscles, seizures, and even death. Furthermore, there are adverse effects associated with cetrimide, including nausea, vomiting, oesophageal damage, necrosis, and abdominal pain. Notably, neither of these toxins has an antidote. If you experience any serious side effects, seek emergency medical help.
