Dermitop Cream is used to treat various inflammatory skin infections. The detailed uses of Dermitop Cream are as follows:

• Eczema and contact dermatitis: Dermitop Cream helps to reduce allergic or irritating skin reactions.
• Inguinal dermatosis and dermatophytosis: Dermitop Cream is used to treat fungal and inflammatory conditions in the groin area.
• Tinea pedis and tinea corporis: Dermitop Cream is used to treat fungal infections like athlete’s foot and ringworm.
• Anal pruritus and balano-posthitis: Dermitop Cream reduces irritation and inflammation in the anal and genital areas.
• Intertrigo and angular stomatitis: Dermitop Cream minimizes inflammation in skin folds and cracked mouth corners.
• Impetigo and follicular dermatitis: Dermitop Cream treats bacterial skin infections and hair follicle inflammation.
• Pustular acne and seborrheic dermatitis: Dermitop Cream is used to reduce swelling, infection, and flaking skin.
• Photosensitivity and eczematoid dermatitis: Dermitop Cream helps to minimize inflammation due to sunlight or chronic eczema-like symptoms.

Dermitop Cream contains Betamethasone, Gentamicin, Tolnaftate, and Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline. Betamethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that reduces redness, itching, and swelling. Gentamicin is an antibacterial that works by killing bacteria. Tolnaftate is an antifungal that works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes, thereby killing fungi. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline has both antifungals with additional antibacterial action that works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of fungi and bacteria. Together Dermitop Cream reduces swelling, itching, and redness caused due to certain bacterial and fungal skin infections.

• Dermitop Cream is for external use only.
• Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dosage and timing of this medication for optimal effectiveness.
• Take a small amount of Dermitop Cream on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as advised by the doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after applying it unless the treatment is for your hands.
• If Dermitop Cream accidentally comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse with water thoroughly.

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• In wet places such as changing rooms and gym showers, don’t walk barefoot. Wear flip-flops or sandals to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes, or socks with others to prevent the spread of infection.
• Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.
• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid) such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach, and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

If you are allergic to Dermitop Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Dermitop Cream is not recommended for children below 2 years of age, as the safety and effectiveness were not established. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Dermitop Cream. Do not use Dermitop Cream in more than prescribed doses or for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Wear disposable plastic gloves or wash your hands after use if you are applying Dermitop Cream for others. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor. Avoid using Dermitop Cream for more than 5 days in children and on the face. Do not swallow Dermitop Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, please contact a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Dermitop Cream catches fire and burns easily. If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), genital itching or other skin problems, diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, adrenal gland or liver problems,  inform your doctor before taking Dermitop Cream.
