Dexcin Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is a topical combination medicine used to treat bacterial infections associated with inflammation by eliminating bacteria, reducing redness and swelling, and promoting healing of the affected area.

• Bacterial eye infections: It targets and destroys the bacteria causing redness, discharge, and irritation in the eye while rapidly reducing painful swelling.
• Bacterial ear infections: It clears bacterial growth in the outer ear canal and relieves the severe pressure, itching, and pain caused by inflammation.
• Inflammatory conditions of the eye and ear: It provides rapid relief from swelling, itching, and redness that often accompany bacterial infections or injuries.

Dexcin Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml combines antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial actions to help treat bacterial ear infections while relieving associated inflammation and discomfort.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• For Eye use: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• For Ear use: Lie on your side or tilt your head so the ear faces up and instil the advised number of drops into the ear.
• To prevent contamination, do not touch the tip of the dropper to your eye, ear, or any surface.

• Keep water out of your ears: If you are treating an ear infection, avoid swimming and wear a shower cap or use earplugs to keep your ears dry while bathing.
• Avoid contact lenses: Do not wear contact lenses while treating an eye infection. Switch to glasses until your doctor confirms the infection is completely gone.
• Practice good hygiene: Wash your hands frequently, especially before and after using your drops, to prevent spreading the infection.
• Do not rub your eyes or ears: Avoid touching, rubbing, or scratching the affected area, as this can worsen irritation and delay healing.
• Wash linens in hot water: Wash pillowcases, towels, and washcloths daily in hot water to kill any lingering bacteria and prevent reinfection.
