About Dic-T Tablet 10's

Dic-T Tablet 10's is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants. It is used to treat spasticity (muscle stiffness and spasms) associated with pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Dic-T Tablet 10's contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Tizanidine. Diclofenac and Paracetamol blocks prostaglandins (PGs) that cause pain and swelling. Tizanidine works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. As a result, Dic-T Tablet 10's helps to reduce muscle stiffness, spasms, and pain. In addition, paracetamol lowers the high temperature by affecting the chemical messengers in an area of the brain that regulates body temperature.

Dic-T Tablet 10's is prescribed medication, and it should be taken as directed by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as vomiting, diarrhoea, headaches, drowsiness and ringing in your ears (tinnitus), fluctuations in blood pressure, dry mouth, stomach upsets, and a decrease or increase in heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. If any of these effects persist, consult your doctor.

Avoid taking Dic-T Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Dic-T Tablet 10's, tell your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any possible side effects. Dic-T Tablet 10's is not recommended for use in pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Dic-T Tablet 10's. This medicine may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert and focused. Dic-T Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Dic-T Tablet 10's as it could lead to liver damage.
