DICORATE SOLUTION 1 is used in the treatment of epilepsy (seizures). The detailed uses of DICORATE SOLUTION 1 are as follows:

• Partial seizures: It is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat complex partial seizures (which affect only one side of the brain and cause impaired consciousness), whether they occur alone or alongside other types of seizures.
• Simple and complex absence seizures: It may also be used alone or with other medications to treat both simple and complex absence seizures (which cause a brief loss and return of consciousness for a few seconds).

• DICORATE SOLUTION 1 can be taken with or without food, or as advised by the doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided with the pack.
• Replace the bottle cap tightly after each use.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not accurately measure the dose.
• Your doctor may adjust the dose and frequency of this medication based on your medical condition.

• DICORATE SOLUTION 1 belongs to a group of medicines called anticonvulsants or antiepileptics, primarily used to treat epilepsy (seizures or fits).
• It increases the levels of a natural chemical (GABA) in the brain, which helps reduce excessive and abnormal nerve activity in the brain, thereby helping to control seizures.

• Do not take DICORATE SOLUTION 1 if you are allergic to any of its contents, have significant liver disease or dysfunction, or have urea cycle disorders.
• Inform your doctor before taking DICORATE SOLUTION 1 if you have pancreatitis, blood problems, or multi-organ hypersensitivity.
• Consult your doctor immediately if you experience suicidal tendencies while taking DICORATE SOLUTION 1.
• DICORATE SOLUTION 1 may cause thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets), hyperammonemia (high levels of ammonia in the blood), hypothermia (low body temperature), and liver problems.
• Please do not stop taking DICORATE SOLUTION 1 without consulting your doctor to avoid worsening of seizures.
• Do not take DICORATE SOLUTION 1 if you are pregnant, as it could cause serious birth defects. If you are of childbearing age, use effective contraception while taking DICORATE SOLUTION 1.
