Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants. It is used to treat spasticity (muscle stiffness and spasms) associated with pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Tizanidine. Diclofenac and Paracetamol blocks prostaglandins (PGs) that cause pain and swelling. Tizanidine works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. As a result, Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet helps to reduce muscle stiffness, spasms, and pain. In addition, paracetamol lowers the high temperature by affecting the chemical messengers in an area of the brain that regulates body temperature.

Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is prescribed medication, and it should be taken as directed by the doctor. What if I have taken an overdose of Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, low blood pressure, a slow or abnormal heartbeat, dizziness, small pupils, difficulty breathing, coma, restlessness or sleepiness, ulcer in your stomach or gut and liver damage. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Do not take Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet if you are allergic to its components. Inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, especially if you have/ had hepatotoxicity, hypotension, renal dysfunction or renal toxicities, asthma, fluid retention, GI toxicity, rash, or thrombosis (blood clots). It is not recommended to take Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only when you are alert. Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Do not stop taking Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet unless your doctor tells you to. Treatment with Dilona MR 50mg/325mg/2mg Tablet should be stopped gradually. Stopping treatment suddenly may cause effects such as an increase in heart rate and high blood pressure.
