Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml is an antiemetic medicine. It is used to treat vomiting (being sick) in infants and children. Besides this, it also helps in the treatment of indigestion. In children, vomiting is a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy.

Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml contains domperidone which is a dopamine antagonist. It works by blocking certain receptors like dopamine and serotonin which stimulate the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) located in the brain. It increases the upper gastrointestinal tract's motility and helps decrease stomach emptying time.

Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml cause dry mouth as a side effect in your child. If this side effect worsens, please consult your paediatrician. Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml should be given as advised by your doctor. Symptoms of nausea and vomiting may usually resolve within 3-4 days after taking Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml. However, if it does not resolve even after this, stop giving this medicine to your child and contact the paediatrician. Do not give more than the prescribed dose of Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml to the child. Domways Strawberry Oral Drops 5 ml can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your pediatrician depending upon the type and severity of the infection.
