Ebast-20 Tablet 15's

Ebast-20 Tablet 15's belongs to the group of medicines called 'Histamine H1 receptor antagonist' primarily used to treat allergic conditions like seasonal allergies/hay fever, allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose) and allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies). Allergy is the response of the body to a foreign substance. 

Ebast-20 Tablet 15's contains 'Ebastine' that works by blocking the effect of histamine (chemical messenger) which is responsible for allergic reactions, thereby providing relief from allergic symptoms such as swelling, itching, rashes, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

You are advised to take Ebast-20 Tablet 15's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Ebast-20 Tablet 15's may cause common side-effects such as dry mouth, headache, and drowsiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your doctor before taking Ebast-20 Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, your doctor will prescribe Ebast-20 Tablet 15's only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Ebast-20 Tablet 15's may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Ebast-20 Tablet 15's is not recommended for children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ebast-20 Tablet 15's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness.

Do not take Ebast-20 Tablet 15's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Take Ebast-20 Tablet 15's with caution if you have low levels of potassium in the blood. Avoid consuming Ebast-20 Tablet 15's along with erythromycin (antibiotics) and ketoconazole (anti-fungal) as it might lead to higher levels of Ebast-20 Tablet 15's in the blood leading to toxicity.
