About Enzoflam Tablet 10's

Enzoflam Tablet 10's belongs to the class of combination medication called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis. Besides this, it also helps treat muscle pain, tooth pain during dental surgery, menstrual period pain/cramps, ear pain and migraine headaches. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Arthritis is the tenderness and swelling in the joints which causes pain and joint stiffness.

Enzoflam Tablet 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins (PG). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain, swelling and fever. By blocking COX enzyme's effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain, inflammation and fever. On the other hand, Serratiopeptidase is a bacterial protein enzyme found in the silkworm which acts as mucolytic (dissolves thick protein at the injured/affected site) and anti-inflammatory agent thereby decreasing swelling at the painful site.

Take Enzoflam Tablet 10's with or without food. Swallow Enzoflam Tablet 10's as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or break the tablet. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Enzoflam Tablet 10's can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Enzoflam Tablet 10's. Enzoflam Tablet 10's increases the chances of stomach ulcers and bleeding. Do not take Enzoflam Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Enzoflam Tablet 10's causes drowsiness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Enzoflam Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established.
