Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm belongs to a class of dermatological medication called topical antifungals used in the treatment of fungal or yeast infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot (affects toes), jock itch (affects the groin area), candidiasis (affects mouth, throat, gut, and vagina) and ringworm (affects skin or the scalp). Athlete’s foot, jock itch and ringworm are fungal infections closely related to each other, whereas candidiasis is a yeast infection caused by Candida albicans. These infections are usually seen in people with weak immune systems. They can spread through skin-to-skin contact.
Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm contains Eberconazole is a potent antifungal agent used to treat dermatophytosis (a red, itchy, scaly, circular rash), candidiasis (affects mouth, throat, gut, and vagina), and pityriasis (a scaly rash that sweeps outward like the branches of a pine tree). The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Thus, it clears fungal infections and provides relief from cracking, burning, scaling, and itching of the skin caused due to infections.
Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm is only for external use. Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose depending on your medical condition. Avoid contact of Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm with nose, mouth or eyes. Avoid contact of Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm with nose, ears, mouth or eyes. If Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience itching, irritation, or burning sensation at the site of application. Avoid using Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm on open wounds or damaged or broken skin. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor. Do not swallow Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm, and in case of accidental swallowing, consult a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Ericlear Lot 1%W/W Cream 40 gm catches fire and burns easily. You are advised not to scratch or prick the infected skin as it may spread or worsen the skin condition.
