Esomac 40 Tablet is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis due to acid-mediated GERD in children. It is also indicated in the treatment of stomach ulcers.

Esomac 40 Tablet contains Esomeprazole, which inhibits gastric acid secretion by blocking the proton pump. Thus, it helps reduce the amount of acid in the stomach.

In some cases, Esomac 40 Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve over time. However, talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

• Treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Esomac 40 Tablet may be prescribed to children diagnosed with GERD, a condition where the stomach contents flow back into the esophagus, causing chronic symptoms.
• Peptic Ulcer Management: Esomac 40 Tablet may be effective in managing peptic ulcers, helping to reduce the stomach acid secretion that can aggravate or contribute to ulcers.
