Esomepraglobe D 10mg/20mg Capsule belongs to the class of drugs known as Proton pump inhibitors, which reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (overproduction of acid due to a pancreatic tumour), duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, and Crohn’s disease-associated ulcers.

Esomepraglobe D 10mg/20mg Capsule is a combination of Esomeprazole and Domperidone that helps reduce stomach acid by blocking the action of an enzyme (H+/K+ ATPase, also known as the gastric proton pump), thus preventing the release of stomach acid and relieving symptoms of food pipe lining inflammation (esophagitis), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or heartburn.

Not everyone who is taking Esomepraglobe D 10mg/20mg Capsule will get these side effects. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as dry mouth, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache, and flatulence. Store Esomepraglobe D 10mg/20mg Capsule at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C) protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects of Esomepraglobe D 10mg/20mg Capsule include dry mouth, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache, and flatulence. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
