There are two types of cholesterol, namely 'bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and triglycerides (TG)) and 'good cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein (HDL)).

Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's contains ezetimibe, which effectively lowers the amount of cholesterol in the blood by reducing cholesterol absorption in the intestine and lowering the level of bad cholesterol in the blood.

The most common side effects of Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's are abdominal pain, diarrhoea, flatulence, tiredness, joint pain, and respiratory tract infection. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's. You should contact a doctor before if you have had an allergic reaction to Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's, have liver or kidney problems, pregnant or planning to get pregnant, are breastfeeding, have severe lung disease, or have a previous heart attack or stroke caused by bleeding in the brain, have hypothyroidism, drink more than two servings of alcohol per day and have a muscle disorder (fibromyalgia).

• Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's can be taken with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Swallow Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush or break it.

• Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's contains a cholesterol-lowering medication primarily used to treat high cholesterol.

• Do not take Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's or any of its ingredients.

• Do not take Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's along with other cholesterol-lowering medicines (cholestyramine, colesevelam, colestipol); take it either 4 hours before or 2 hours after Ezelix 10 Tablet 10's.
