Faronem ER Tablet 10's

Faronem ER Tablet is used in the treatment of several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin, ears, nose, and gynaecological infections. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection.

Faronem ER Tablet contains Faropenem, an antibiotic that kills bacteria (bactericidal) by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival.

In some cases, you may experience nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and rash. Most of these side effects of Faronem ER Tablet do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Faronem ER Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Faronem ER Tablet . Consult your doctor if you experience symptoms such as easy bleeding, loss of appetite, tongue swelling, or stomatitis (inflammation and sores in the mouth).

Faronem ER Tablet is used in the treatment of Bacterial infections. The detailed uses of Faronem ER Tablet are as follows:

• Bacterial infections: Faronem ER Tablet is generally prescribed for bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial growth and killing bacteria, helping the body fight infections like pneumonia and urinary tract infections.
• Respiratory infections: Faronem ER Tablet helps to treat respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis by targeting the causative bacteria.
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Faronem ER Tablet involved in managing UTIs by targeting and eliminating the bacteria causing the infection, relieving symptoms like burning sensation and frequent urination.
• Skin and soft tissue infections: Faronem ER Tablet helps in skin and soft tissue infections like cellulitis by killing the bacteria causing the infection, reducing swelling, redness, and pain.
• Gynaecological infections: Faronem ER Tablet treats gynaecological infections by targeting and eliminating the bacteria causing the infection, relieving symptoms, and promoting recovery.
• Intra-abdominal infections: Faronem ER Tablet relieves abdominal infections by killing the bacteria that cause them.

• Take Faronem ER Tablet with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is recommended to take Faronem ER Tablet twice daily; however, follow your doctor’s recommendations regarding dosage and duration.
• Swallow Faronem ER Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Faronem ER Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against both aerobic (grow in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (grow in the absence of oxygen) gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.
• It is used in the treatment of several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin, ears, nose, and gynaecological infections.
• Faronem ER Tablet inhibits the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thus, it kills bacteria.

• Regular monitoring of kidney and liver functioning is recommended while taking Faronem ER Tablet .
• If you are a breastfeeding or pregnant woman, please consult a doctor before taking Faronem ER Tablet .
• If you notice blood in your stools or have severe stomach pain with diarrhoea, contact your doctor immediately.
• Faronem ER Tablet may cause vitamin K or vitamin B deficiency in some patients, particularly in elderly individuals and those with poor oral intake.
• Consult your doctor if you experience symptoms such as easy bleeding, loss of appetite, tongue swelling, or stomatitis (inflammation and sores in the mouth).
• If you have kidney problems, a family history of atopy (a tendency to develop allergic reactions), glucose-galactose malabsorption, lactase deficiency, or galactose intolerance, inform your doctor before taking Faronem ER Tablet .
