Fensotam-D 0.4/0.5 Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland caused by the overproduction of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone in men.
Fensotam-D 0.4/0.5 Tablet contains Tamsulosin hydrochloride and Dutasteride. Dutasteride shrinks the enlarged prostate, and Tamsulosin hydrochloride relaxes muscles in the prostate and neck of the bladder. Thereby, Fensotam-D 0.4/0.5 Tablet treats enlarged prostate.
The most common side effects of Fensotam-D 0.4/0.5 Tablet are dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, decreased sex drive or libido, runny/stuffy nose, reduced amount of semen/sperm, testicle pain/swelling, and increased breast size or breast tenderness. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor promptly.
