Fm-Active Tablet 10's contains Flupentixol and Melitracen. Flupentixol is an antipsychotic medication that works by inhibiting dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that influences thoughts and mood. Melitracen is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that aid in mood regulation and the treatment of depression. Thus, Fm-Active Tablet 10's effectively treats various forms of depression and anxiety.

Take Fm-Active Tablet 10's as prescribed. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Fm-Active Tablet 10's include insomnia, restlessness, agitation, dizziness, tremor, dry mouth, constipation, accommodation disorder and fatigue. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor immediately. 

Do not use Fm-Active Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of the components. Seek medical advice if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Do not consume alcohol while using Fm-Active Tablet 10's as there may be an interaction. Fm-Active Tablet 10's is not recommended for excitable or overactive patients since its activating effect may exaggerate these characteristics. Do not use Fm-Active Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of the components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Let your doctor know if you have circulatory collapse (specific failure of the blood circulation), depressed level of consciousness due to any cause (e.g. intoxication with alcohol, opiates or barbiturates), untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, coma, blood disorders, phaeochromocytoma (a small vascular tumour), recent myocardial infarction, any degree of atrioventricular block or disorders of cardiac rhythm and coronary artery insufficiency. Concomitant treatment of Fm-Active Tablet 10's with MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) is contraindicated as it may cause serotonin syndrome (a combination of symptoms, possibly including confusion, agitation, tremor, hyperthermia and myoclonus). Therefore, do not take Fm-Active Tablet 10's if you are taking MAOIs or have taken them in the past 14 days.

Drug-Drug Interactions:  Fm-Active Tablet 10's may interact with MAO inhibitors (isocarboxazid, phenelzine), barbiturates (pentobarbital, phenobarbital), CNS depressants (diazepam, clonazepam, alprazolam), and neuroleptics (thioridazine, chlorpromazine).

Drug-Food Interactions: Limit or avoid the consumption of alcohol.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Fm-Active Tablet 10's should not be used in patients with circulatory collapse (specific failure of the blood circulation), depressed level of consciousness, untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, coma, blood disorders, phaeochromocytoma (a small vascular tumour), recent myocardial infarction, any degree of atrioventricular block or disorders of cardiac rhythm and coronary artery insufficiency.

• Complex carbs such as whole grains, legumes, spinach, broccoli, oranges, and pears aid in the stimulation of serotonin (a feel-good neurotransmitter).
• Exercising helps the body's natural antidepressant synthesis. It also aids in stress relief, mood enhancement, self-esteem enhancement, and comfortable sleep.
• Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.
• Learn about your medical condition, be aware of the risk factors, and stick to your doctor's treatment plan.

While using this medication, strictly follow your doctor's recommendations. Even if you feel better, do not reduce or discontinue your medicine on your own. This may aggravate your condition.
