Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm

Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm belongs to the dermatological medication class used to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused due to eczema and dermatitis with secondary bacterial skin infections. Eczema is a skin condition in which the immune system becomes triggered and disordered, thereby causing inflammation, dry skin, itching, a skin rash that appears purple or grey, or red in colour.

Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm is a combination of two drugs: Fusidic acid (antibiotic) and Hydrocortisone (corticosteroid). Fusidic acid belongs to the class of antibiotics that inhibit essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it stops the growth of bacteria without killing them directly. Then the bacteria eventually die, or the immune system destroys them and clears the infection. Hydrocortisone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that act inside skin cells and inhibit the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm as prescribed. Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm with nose, ears, mouth, or eyes. In case Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience itching, irritation, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm. If you experience blurred vision or other vision disturbances, please consult a doctor.  Apply Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm with caution near the eyes as Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm may lead to glaucoma if it gets into the eye. Do not cover or wrap the treated area with bandages unless advised by your doctor. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) in contact with Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm catches fire and burns easily, which is a serious fire hazard. If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), tuberculosis, diabetes, syphilis (a bacterial infection), chickenpox or sores, athlete’s foot, broken veins or skin ulcers, please inform your doctor before taking Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm. 

Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm is used in the treatment of Eczema and dermatitis. The detailed uses of Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm are as follows:

• Treatment of Eczema: Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm is used to treat eczema caused by secondary bacterial infection. It helps to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness while simultaneously targeting bacterial growth.
• Treatment of Dermatitis: Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm provides relief for contact dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis, especially when bacterial infection is suspected, by tackling both inflammation and bacterial causes.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety.
• Take a small amount of Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm and gently apply as a thin layer on the affected area of the skin as prescribed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after using Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm, unless the treated area is your hands.
• Avoid contact with your eyes as it may cause irritation. In case Fudiwin-H Cream 15 gm comes in contact with eyes accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
