About Fusigen Spray

Fusigen Spray is an antibiotic used for the treatment and prevention of bacterial skin infections. Bacterial skin infections occur when bacteria enter the body through broken skin, cuts, or wounds.

Fusigen Spray contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Fusigen Spray helps in treating skin infections.

Fusigen Spray is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Do not use Fusigen Spray if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor before using Fusigen Spray if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid contact of Fusigen Spray with eyes, nose or mouth; if contact occurs accidentally, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Post-Surgical Wound Care:Fusigen Spray is also used to prevent bacterial infections after skin surgery or wounds, particularly in cases of open cuts or wounds.
