Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule is used to treat the disorders associated with reduced gastrointestinal motility. Besides this, Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule also treats gastrointestinal disorders like dyspepsia (indigestion), bloating (feeling of stomach tightness due to gas), upper abdominal pain, anorexia (eating disorder), heartburn, nausea and vomiting. In normal digestion conditions, the food is moved through the entire digestive tract (food pipe, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine) by a rhythmic contraction, i.e., peristalsis movement. This regular movement of the digestive tract is called 'gastric motility.' When an individual suffers from a digestive motility problem, these digestive tract contractions do not work correctly, leading to various gastrointestinal issues.

Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule contains 'Itopride Hydrochloride', which increases the level of acetylcholine concentration and Gastrointestinal peristalsis movement, thereby accelerating gastric emptying time and easing the movement of food through the entire gastrointestinal tract. Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule also stops the sensation of vomiting/nausea by blocking the D2 receptors located in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) of the brain, which is responsible for inducing vomiting.

The detailed uses of Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule are as follows:<br/>•Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia: Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule is frequently used to alleviate functional dyspepsia symptoms such as pain, bloating, and nausea.<br/>•Management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule aids in the treatment of GERD, such as heartburn and acid ingestion, by increasing stomach motility and decreasing the frequency of reflux events.<br/>•Relief from Nausea and Vomiting: Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule significantly reduces nausea and vomiting caused by gastroenteritis and chemotherapy, thereby regulating digestive function.<br/>•Postoperative Gastric Motility Disorders: Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule can also be used to treat patients who have delayed gastric emptying following surgery.<br/>•Gastroparesis Management: Ganaton OD 150 mg Capsule can be prescribed to treat gastroparesis by improving gastric motility in patients with weak stomach muscles.<br/>

Directions for Use
