Gancivia 0.15% Ophthalmic Gel 5 gm belongs to the class of 'antivirals' used in treating herpes simplex keratitis. Herpes simplex keratitis is an infection that affects the cornea of the eye front surface of the eye) caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).

Gancivia 0.15% Ophthalmic Gel 5 gm contains Gancyclovir, which works by killing and stopping the growth of the herpes simplex virus on the cornea. Thereby helping to treat herpes simplex keratitis.

Gancivia 0.15% Ophthalmic Gel 5 gm is for ophthalmic (for the eye) use only. Avoid ingestion of this medicine. In case of accidental intake, consult your doctor immediately.
