Gnorm Capsule is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Gnorm Capsule may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a severe intestinal disease in premature infants).

Gnorm Capsule contains Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Gnorm Capsule helps in treating diarrhoea. Gnorm Capsule helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora, strengthening immunity and overall gut health.

You are advised to take Gnorm Capsule for as long as your doctor has recommended, depending on your medical condition. Gnorm Capsule is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines or herbal products before starting Gnorm Capsule. • Gnorm Capsule can be taken with or without food as advised by the doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Pour the contents into a glass of water or your preferred beverage, stir well, and drink immediately.
• Avoid mixing the contents with very hot or cold liquids.
