Grewit-5 Spray belongs to the class of ‘vasodilators’ used to treat alopecia (hair loss). Grewit-5 Spray stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

Grewit-5 Spray contains ‘Minoxidil’, a vasodilator that widens the blood vessels. This vasodilation process helps provide oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the hair follicles, thereby preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth. 

Your doctor will suggest the dose and duration based on your condition. Some common side effects of Grewit-5 Spray include changes in the colour/texture of the hair, excessive hair growth, headache, itching, skin irritation, dryness, shortness of breath, scaling of the skin, and redness. These side effects usually do not require medical attention and gradually resolve during the treatment. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Do not apply Grewit-5 Spray to shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp skin. Before using Grewit-5 Spray, let your doctor know if you have high blood pressure, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, heart diseases like angina (chest pain), a recent heart attack, and circulation disorders. Grewit-5 Spray is used for the treatment of Alopecia/hair loss.

Grewit-5 Spray is a vasodilator and widens the blood vessels promoting the blood flow. This process helps nourish the hair cells with the supply of oxygen and nutrients and thus stimulates hair growth.

You may notice hair shedding during the initial 2-6 weeks of treatment, which is normal. Hair loss gradually stops after two weeks of treatment. If it persists for over two weeks, stop using Grewit-5 Spray and consult your doctor.

Hair growth is a slow process, and it usually takes four months to see the best results of Grewit-5 Spray.

Grewit-5 Spray is for topical use only. Do not put a bandage or dressing on the affected area while treating with Grewit-5 Spray. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Do not blow-dry your scalp after using Grewit-5 Spray. Do not apply Grewit-5 Spray on shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp skin.

Grewit-5 Spray is for scalp use; do not apply it on your face. If Grewit-5 Spray gets in contact with any other body areas, rinse with water thoroughly.

It is not required to wash your hair daily after applying Grewit-5 Spray. But, make sure your hair is dry before applying Grewit-5 Spray if you have washed your hair.

Do not use Grewit-5 Spray for beard growth. Grewit-5 Spray is recommended only for hair loss on the scalp.

Do not freeze Grewit-5 Spray. Please keep it away from direct sunlight. If you are using foam, keep the foam canister away from open flame or high heat since it may explode. Do not puncture or burn an empty canister.

You are advised to use Grewit-5 Spray for as long as your doctor has told you. Using more than advised or more often will not increase effectiveness. Please follow your doctor's instructions.

The side effects of Grewit-5 Spray include changes in colour/texture of the hair, skin irritation, dryness, redness, scaling of the skin and excessive hair growth. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

You must keep using Grewit-5 Spray to make sure that your hair grows longer. If you stop using Grewit-5 Spray, the regrown hair may disappear after 3 to 4 months and hair loss or balding may restart.

As hair growth is a slow process, it may take some time for you to notice new hair growth after starting the treatment with Grewit-5 Spray. Use it for as long as it is advised by your doctor to see best results.
