About Hepz Tablet

Hepz Tablet is primarily used to treat hepatic encephalopathy, indigestion (unable to digest food in the stomach, associated with pain and discomfort) and inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis). Hepatic encephalopathy is a liver disease in which the liver does not remove toxins from the body, which leads to loss of brain function.

Hepz Tablet contains L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate and Pancreatin. L-ornithine-L-aspartate helps increase the levels of amino acids, ornithine and aspartic acid in the body. Pancreatin helps replace these enzymes and aids the digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.

Hepz Tablet is generally safe to use. However, some may experience side effects like nausea and vomiting. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, if they occur, please seek medical attention.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Hepz Tablet or any of its ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use Hepz Tablet with proper consultation and caution. Hepz Tablet should not be given to children unless prescribed by the doctor.

How Hepz Tablet Works

Hepz Tablet contains L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate and Pancreatin. • L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate helps increase the levels of amino acids, ornithine and aspartic acid in the body. This increase in the amino acids helps in ammonia detoxification (ammonia is a toxic waste product that needs to be eliminated from the body). • Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme that is a combination of lipase, protease, and amylase enzymes. Medical conditions like inflammation of the pancreas can cause digestive issues by lacking these enzymes. Pancreatin helps in replacing these enzymes and helps in the digestion of carbohydrates, proteins.
