About Hisaka Capsule

Hisaka Capsule is used to relieve signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.

Hisaka Capsule contains Polmacoxib, which works by inhibiting certain enzyme in the body involved in producing certain chemical substances called prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thus, it helps relieve pain and swelling.

Take Hisaka Capsule as prescribed. Hisaka Capsule may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, dizziness, stomach pain, gas, constipation or diarrhoea. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Side effects of Hisaka Capsule

Swelling In The Feet And Ankles

Wear compression garments like stockings, sleeves, or gloves to apply pressure and help stop fluid from building up, especially after the swelling goes down.
Move around and do exercises to help the fluid circulate, especially in swollen limbs. Ask your doctor for specific exercises.
Raise the swollen area above your heart level several times a day, even while sleeping, to help reduce swelling.
Gently massage the swollen area with firm but not painful pressure.
Keep the swollen area clean and moisturized to prevent injury and infection.
Reduce salt intake to help prevent fluid from building up and worsening the swelling, as advised by a doctor.
If the swelling does not get better after a few days of home treatment or worsens, consult your doctor right away.

An overdose of Hisaka Capsule may cause large pupils, warm, dry skin, flushed face, fever, dry mouth, fast or irregular heartbeat, anxiety, hallucinations, confusion, agitation, hyperactivity, loss of consciousness, and seizures. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience these symptoms or think you might have taken too much.

If you are allergic to polmacoxib, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, please tell your doctor.
Hisaka Capsule is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Hisaka Capsule should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, bronchial asthma, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, history of oedema, peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
