HSZ-IT Capsule 10's

HSZ-IT Capsule is used to lower the increased level of stomach acid. It treats GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and peptic ulcers. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (esophagus). Peptic ulcers are sores that develop on the inner lining of the intestine and stomach.

HSZ-IT Capsule contains Rabeprazole and Itopride. Rabeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production. Itopride works on the part of the brain that is responsible for controlling vomiting.

Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as headache, nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, and diarrhea. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take HSZ-IT Capsule if you are allergic to any of its contents. Do not take HSZ-IT Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. It should not be given to children, as safety has not been established.

HSZ-IT Capsule used in the treatment of Hyperacidity, Gastro-esophageal reflux disease, Peptic ulcer. The detailed uses of HSZ-IT Capsule are as follows:

• Reducing Stomach Acid: HSZ-IT Capsule helps to decrease the production of stomach acid, providing relief from hyperacidity, heartburn, and gas.
• Treating Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): HSZ-IT Capsule alleviates symptoms of GERD, such as acid reflux and heartburn, by reducing acid production.
• Healing Peptic Ulcers: HSZ-IT Capsule facilitates the healing of peptic ulcers by reducing stomach acid and promoting gastrointestinal health.
• Improves Digestion and Gut Motility: HSZ-IT Capsule enhances digestion and promotes gut motility, aiding in the movement of food through the digestive system and reducing symptoms like bloating and gas.
• Manages Nausea and Discomfort: HSZ-IT Capsule manages nausea and discomfort caused by indigestion.

• Take HSZ-IT Capsule with or without food, or as advised by a doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• HSZ-IT Capsule is a combination of Rabeprazole and Itopride.
• Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by blocking the action of an enzyme called the gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production.
• It minimises the release of acid from the stomach, which provides relief from heartburn and acid-related digestion.
• Itopride works on the part of the brain responsible for controlling vomiting.
• It increases gastric emptying and improves gastric sensitivity and tension by increasing the stomach's movement and intestines in the upper digestive tract. It also has antiemetic action.

• Do not take HSZ-IT Capsule if you are allergic to any of its contents.
• Inform your doctor before taking HSZ-IT Capsule if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical perforation/obstruction, or movement disorder.
• Do not take HSZ-IT Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor.
• HSZ-IT Capsule causes dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
• HSZ-IT Capsule should not be given to children as safety has not been established.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with HSZ-IT Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness and elevate stomach acid production.
• Keep your doctor informed about all the medicines and your health condition to rule out any side effects.
• Consult your doctor if you experience unexplained weight loss, stomach pain, indigestion, vomit food or blood, or if you pass black stools.
• On long-term treatment, HSZ-IT Capsule may cause osteoporosis and hypomagnesemia (low levels of magnesium), and may reduce the absorption of vitamin B12.
