About Ibugesic Plus Suspension

Ibugesic Plus Suspension is used in relieving pain. Pain can be acute (temporary) or chronic (long-lasting). Acute pain is a short-term pain caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or other organs. Chronic pain lasts for a long duration and is caused due to pathologies like nerve damage, etc.

Ibugesic Plus Suspension is a combination of Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. This medicine works by blocking the effect of a chemical known as prostaglandin, which is responsible for inducing pain and inflammation in the body.

Ibugesic Plus Suspension may cause certain side effects in your child, such as abdominal pain, headache, cold-like nose symptoms (in children), or diarrhoea (in children). These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician.

Ibugesic Plus Suspension is intended for pediatric use only. Avoid giving Ibugesic Plus Suspension to your child if she/he is allergic to antibiotics. Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Ibugesic Plus Suspension may include nausea, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes (jaundice), confusion, disorientation, a reduction in urine, kidney failure, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), build-up of acid in the blood, and depression. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

The vomiting could be a reaction to the vaccination, the illness itself, or gastric irritation caused by these medications. Please stop giving both Medler and Ibugesic Plus immediately. Consult your pediatrician right away for a safe, single-ingredient alternative (like plain paracetamol drops) and to evaluate the vomiting and green stools.
