ISTAPHASE MG 1 TABLET 1 is an anti-diabetic medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic or lifelong condition that affects the way your body processes glucose. People with type 2 diabetes either do not produce enough insulin or, if any insulin is produced, it is unable to perform its function in the body (insulin resistance).

ISTAPHASE MG 1 TABLET 1 is a combination of Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose which help control blood sugar levels. This medicine works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. You must continue following the diet and exercise recommended for you whilst on treatment with ISTAPHASE MG 1 TABLET 1.

Not everyone who is taking ISTAPHASE MG 1 TABLET 1 will get these side effects. The most common side effect of ISTAPHASE MG 1 TABLET 1 is hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels), characterised by dizziness, sweating, hunger pangs, dry mouth and skin, etc. Other side effects include changes in taste, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, and upper respiratory symptoms.
