K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm

K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm is primarily used to treat bacterial skin infections, impetigo, rosacea, and bacterial vaginal infection (bacterial vaginosis). Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade and affect the tissues of the skin. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Impetigo is a contagious (spread by contact) infection that causes red sores on the face. Rosacea is a skin disease that causes redness, flushing, and pimples on the face.

K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm is composed of two antibiotics: Mupirocin and Metronidazole. Mupirocin is an antibacterial drug. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out its vital functions, thus preventing bacterial growth. Metronidazole belongs to the class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It exerts bactericidal (kills bacteria) action and inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis and cell growth.

Use K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm as suggested by the doctor. K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm is for external use only. Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose that suits your infection. Common side effects of K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm include itching, burning sensation, irritation and redness at the application site. Avoid applying K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm on sunburns, lesions, blisters, and open wounds. Cover the affected areas with a dressing or bandage only if the doctor advised you to do so. K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm is not recommended for use in diaper rash, which is often caused due to fungus. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should use K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm only with proper doctor consultation and caution. Do not store K Bact-CM Gel 10 gm above 25°C.
