Kelfer-500mg Capsule is indicated to remove excess iron from the body. It is used to treat iron overload caused by frequent blood transfusions in patients with thalassemia syndromes when current chelation therapy is inadequate.

Kelfer-500mg Capsule contains Deferiprone, which binds to iron and helps the body excrete excess iron in the urine.

The medicine should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. If a dose is missed, take it when remembered, but if the next dose is near, skip the missed one.
