About Ketohunt DS Tablet

Ketohunt DS Tablet is widely used in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a long-term condition where the kidneys don't work as they should.

Ketohunt DS Tablet contains an alpha-ketoanalogue DS, which prevents unnecessary increases in blood urea levels caused by the intake of non-essential amino acids in patients with kidney failure.

Common side effects of Ketohunt DS Tablet include increased calcium levels, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.

Ketohunt DS Tablet mimics the same catabolic pathways as amino acids and works by improving the body's metabolism, thereby improving renal function.
CKD can be diagnosed using blood and urine tests. These tests look for high levels of certain substances in the blood and urine that show your kidneys are malfunctioning. The results of these tests can be used to determine the stage of your kidney disease.
CKD is usually caused by various conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney infections, kidney inflammation, kidney stones that keep coming back, an enlarged prostate, and long-term or regular use of certain medicines such as lithium and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
There are usually no symptoms of kidney disease in the early stages.
