Ketorol-DT Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
 
Ketorol-DT Tablet contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Ketorol-DT Tablet helps provide relief from pain.
 
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Avoid taking Ketorol-DT Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.   • Avoid lying down immediately after eating as it may cause indigestion or heartburn.
  • Avoid acidic and spicy food as it may cause indigestion.

  • Protect the swollen area from injury and keep it clean.
  • Use lotion or cream to keep the skin moisturized.
  • Skin rash caused by allergies is due to irritants or allergens. Therefore, avoid contact with such irritants.

  • Protect your skin from extreme heat and try to apply wet compresses.

Ketorol-DT Tablet can increase your risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Ketorol-DT Tablet . Inform your doctor if you have or have high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Ketorol-DT Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ketorol-DT Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Stop taking Ketorol-DT Tablet and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Ketorol-DT Tablet unless prescribed.
