It is recommended not to take Kinphos Tablet with tea, coffee, milk, and eggs since they might interfere with iron absorption from Kinphos Tablet .
Kinphos Tablet is best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. But in some patients, Kinphos Tablet may cause gastrointestinal disturbances like stomach upset when taken without food. So, please take it as suggested by your doctor if you have stomach problems.
Kinphos Tablet may cause constipation as one of its side effects. Eating fibre rich foods like vegetables, fresh fruits, and cereals and drinking plenty of water can help relieve symptoms.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of iron. Hence it is advised to take Kinphos Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage. Do not double the dose.
