L-Cetiriz 2.5Mg Syp is used to treat various kinds of allergies. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements, typically not harmful to the body. These foreign elements are known as allergens. Allergic condition varies from person to person. Some might be allergic to certain foods and seasonal allergies like hay fever.

L-Cetiriz 2.5Mg Syp contains levocetirizine, a non-drowsy antihistamine that helps manage allergic reactions. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a natural chemical in the body that causes allergy symptoms. By reducing histamine activity, L-Cetiriz 2.5Mg Syp helps relieve symptoms such as itching, swelling, redness, runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes commonly associated with allergies.

In some cases, your child may experience headaches, dry mouth, sickness, dizziness, stomach pain and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of L-Cetiriz 2.5Mg Syp may include restlessness and agitation.
