• Treats fungal skin infections: LAMIFIN M CREAM is effective in treating fungal infections, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, and tinea versicolor.
• Manages eczema and psoriasis: LAMIFIN M CREAM helps relieve symptoms like itching, redness, and scaling in chronic skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
• Controls dermatitis: LAMIFIN M CREAM reduces inflammation and discomfort associated with different forms of dermatitis.

LAMIFIN M CREAM is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, dermatitis, and tinea versicolor. LAMIFIN M CREAM is composed of Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Terbinafine (antifungal). Mometasone is a corticosteroid that blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers), which causes the affected area to become red, swollen, and itchy. It effectively treats inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema and psoriasis. Terbinafine is an antifungal drug that treats fungal infections by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane (a compound present in the fungi to maintain cell integrity) and thus resulting in fungal cell death.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Apply a thin layer of LAMIFIN M CREAM to the affected areas of the skin using clean, dry hands or a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab, and gently rub the medicine into the skin until it is fully absorbed.

• Wash your hands before and after applying LAMIFIN M CREAM to the affected areas, unless the treatment is specifically for the hands.

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• Use mild soap when taking baths, and opt for warm baths.
• Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of skin, as this can spread the infection to other parts of the body.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes, or socks with others.

• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.

Avoid contact of LAMIFIN M CREAM with nose, mouth, or eyes as it may irritate. If LAMIFIN M CREAM comes into contact with these areas accidentally, rinse thoroughly with water. Mometasone may also increase the risk of infection in patients exposed to viral illnesses, such as chickenpox or measles. Topical use of corticosteroids may occasionally cause systemic immunosuppression (a decreased ability to fight infections), which can further exacerbate the disease; therefore, corticosteroids should be used with caution in patients with active infections. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult the doctor before starting LAMIFIN M CREAM. LAMIFIN M CREAM is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
