Magnesium Sulphate 50% 2Ml Inj (Harson) is a mineral supplement, and an anticonvulsant primarily used to prevent and control seizures (fits) in preeclampsia and eclampsia (serious complications in pregnancy that occur due to high blood pressure). Magnesium Sulphate 50% 2Ml Inj (Harson) is also used to treat hypomagnesaemia, a condition characterized by abnormally low magnesium levels in the blood.

Magnesium Sulphate 50% 2Ml Inj (Harson) contains Magnesium sulfate. It is a mineral supplement and an electrolyte. It prevents and controls seizures by blocking neuromuscular transmission, the transfer of nerve impulses to the heart. It further has a depressant effect on the central nervous system and acts peripherally to cause vasodilation.
