MQ-Plus Tablet is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies like low blood calcium levels, vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

MQ-Plus Tablet is a combination of Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), Folic acid, Pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). Cholecalciferol is a steroid hormone produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet light or obtained from food sources. It is a form of Vitamin D and helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralization of bone. Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine/Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin/Vitamin B12) regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, MQ-Plus Tablet may have common side effects like numbness/tingling of hands or feet, upset stomach, diarrhoea, drowsiness, flushing, and nausea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.

Let your doctor know if you are using any other medicines and herbal products before starting MQ-Plus Tablet . If you are known to be allergic to MQ-Plus Tablet or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, please consult your doctor before taking MQ-Plus Tablet .

• Nutritional Deficiency Management:MQ-Plus Tablet helps to manage nutritional deficiencies by combining essential vitamins, thus promoting overall health and well-being.
• Conditions Treated:MQ-Plus Tablet is effective in treating low blood calcium levels, vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency.

• MQ-Plus Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, it is best to take it after meals for better absorption.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Place the tablet on the tongue and let it dissolve or disintegrate in your mouth without water before swallowing.
• Do not crush, break, or swallow the tablet as a whole.
• Do not touch MQ-Plus Tablet with wet hands.

It is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters.  Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Brief your medical history to doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver diseases, kidney stones, Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease), blood disorders like pernicious anaemia, Whipple's disease (bacterial infection affecting joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (little or no stomach acid), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance. Pyridoxine and folic acid in MQ-Plus Tablet are excreted into breast milk. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking MQ-Plus Tablet . Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Alcohol can also worsen the side effects like drowsiness and stomach upset. Hence, please avoid alcohol during the treatment with MQ-Plus Tablet . Keep MQ-Plus Tablet away from direct sunlight. Do not store MQ-Plus Tablet above 25ºC.
