Nexpro IT Capsule is used to treat acidity, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcers (peptic ulcers, gastric ulcers due to H pylori), heartburn symptoms and Zollinger Ellison syndrome.
Nexpro IT Capsule contains Esomeprazole and Itopride. Esomeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for the production of acid. Itopride works by accelerating gastric emptying and improves gastric sensitivity and tension. It also has anti-emetic action. Together, Nexpro IT Capsule helps in preventing acid reflux, thereby providing relief from acidity.
Yes, diarrhoea is a possible side effect of Nexpro IT Capsule . Drink plenty of fluids and eat bland, non-spicy foods if it occurs. If you develop severe, persistent, watery, or bloody diarrhoea, contact your doctor immediately and do not take anti-diarrhoeal medicines without medical advice, as this could indicate a serious intestinal infection requiring treatment
