Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml is used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness, and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml contains Mometasone furoate, a potent corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, these substances are released normally.

Use Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml as prescribed. You are advised to use Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition. Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml is for external use only. Avoid contact with Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml by nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensations. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Avoid using Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml for more than five days in children and on the face. Avoid using Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml in or around the eyes, including eyelids. Do not use Nimosone 0.1% Lotion 25 ml on large areas of the body or for longer.
