Ondoder Injection 30 ml

Ondoder Injection 30 ml is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by various medical conditions. The detailed uses of Ondoder Injection 30 ml are as follows:

• Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) : Ondoder Injection 30 ml is used in adults and children to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.
• Post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV): Ondoder Injection 30 ml helps prevent and treat nausea and vomiting that may occur after surgery.
• Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting: In adults receiving radiation treatment for cancer, Ondoder Injection 30 ml is used to reduce or prevent nausea and vomiting associated with therapy.

• Ondoder Injection 30 ml contains Ondansetron that blocks the action of serotonin, a chemical that stimulates the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) located in the brain.
• Thus, it prevents nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in adults and children, as well as after surgery.
• Additionally, Ondoder Injection 30 ml can be used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by radiotherapy for cancer in adults.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.
• Ondoder Injection 30 ml will be administered by the doctor.
• Do not self-administer.

• Eat a healthy and low-fat diet, especially in small portions, as it will be easy to digest. Avoid eating overly sweet food and include more salty food, especially if you have been vomiting.
• Drink any other liquid at least 30 minutes after eating food.
• If the smell of food makes you feel sick (vomit), do not cook food as it may worsen your condition. Let someone else do the cooking or use prepared food from the freezer.

• If you are allergic to Ondansetron, Palanosetron, Granisetron, or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
• Ondoder Injection 30 ml should be given to children only in doses as advised by the doctor based on the child’s body weight or body surface area.
• Ondoder Injection 30 ml should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding after consultation with a doctor.
• If you have problems with levels of sodium, magnesium, and potassium salts in your blood, inform your doctor before taking Ondoder Injection 30 ml.
