About Onimar 400 Tablet
Onimar 400 Tablet belongs to the class of 'Xanthine' primarily used for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma and COPD cause breathing difficulty and cough.
Onimar 400 Tablet contains Theophylline, which relaxes and opens air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe by reducing inflammation and increasing airflow, thereby providing relief from respiratory symptoms.
In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, restlessness, tremors, headache, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

- Onimar 400 Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Onimar 400 Tablet as it may cause an overdose. The symptoms of overdose include slow heart rate, seizures (fits), fainting or weak pulse. Seizures caused due to overdose of Theophylline may cause permanent brain damage or it can be fatal. If you suspect you have taken an overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
