You can try switching to a milder or medicated anti-dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole or selenium sulfide, used 2-3 times a week, and follow it with a gentle conditioner on the hair (not the scalp) to reduce dryness. Avoid scratching your scalp and limit the use of harsh hair products or oils.
