Pantoze-LS Capsule 10's

Pantoze-LS Capsule is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity, indigestion, heartburn, and peptic ulcers. Gastroesophageal reflux disease occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). This causes acidity and heartburn.

Pantoze-LS Capsule is a combination of Pantoprazole and Levosulpiride. Pantoprazole lowers acid production in the stomach. Levosulpiride works by increasing the pressure of the inferior oesophageal (food pipe) sphincter, thereby preventing the backflow of food and acid into the mouth.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as headache, nausea, vomiting, gas, dry mouth, dizziness and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your doctor before taking Pantoze-LS Capsule if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or intestinal obstruction. On long-term treatment, Pantoze-LS Capsule may cause osteoporosis and hypomagnesemia (low magnesium levels). Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pantoze-LS Capsule is used to treat acid-related stomach disorders. The detailed uses of Pantoze-LS Capsule are as follows:

• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD): Pantoze-LS Capsule reduces acid reflux, heartburn, and irritation of the esophagus.
• Acidity: Pantoze-LS Capsule provides relief from excessive stomach acid and related discomfort.
• Indigestion: Pantoze-LS Capsule improves digestion by lowering acid and promoting normal stomach movement.
• Heartburn: Pantoze-LS Capsule treats the burning sensation in the chest caused by acid reflux.
• Peptic ulcer disease: Pantoze-LS Capsule aids in the healing of ulcers in the stomach and upper intestine by reducing acid production.

• Pantoze-LS Capsule should be taken 60 minutes before a meal to maximize its effects.
• It is usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Pantoze-LS Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or open it.

• Pantoze-LS Capsule may cause osteoporosis (weak, brittle bones) and hypomagnesemia (low magnesium levels) with long-term treatment.
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pantoze-LS Capsule may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so drive only if you are alert.
• Pantoze-LS Capsule should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Pantoze-LS Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can elevate the production of stomach acid.
