Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution is used in the treatment of Constipation. The detailed use of Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution is as follows:

• Chronic Constipation Relief: Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution is used for severe constipation in children.

• Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution is a combination of Polyethylene glycol, Potassium chloride, Sodium bicarbonate, and Sodium chloride. It is primarily used to relieve constipation.
• Polyethylene glycol draws water into the intestines, softening stools and cleansing the gastrointestinal tract, making stool passage easier.
• Potassium chloride supports healthy organ function and helps maintain electrolyte balance.
• Sodium bicarbonate helps neutralise excess stomach acid, providing relief from acidity and heartburn.
• Sodium chloride maintains sodium and fluid balance in the body, preventing dehydration.
• Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution helps in softening stools, easing bowel movements, restoring electrolyte balance, and providing relief from constipation effectively.

• Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution should be given to your child with or without food.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, or use it as per the labelled instructions.
• Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a quarter glass of water to form a solution, and give it to your child to drink.
• If your child cannot drink it immediately, store the reconstituted solution in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C).
• Discard the solution if not used within 24 hours.

• Try to give your child a balanced diet, which includes fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Give your child enough water and fluids to stay hydrated.
• Make sure your child gets enough sleep.
• Give foods rich in fibre, such as whole-wheat bread, oatmeal, flaxseed, nuts, beans, lentils, fruits (berries, apples, oranges, bananas, pears, figs), and vegetables (broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes, avocados) to your child.

• If your child is allergic to Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
• If your child has ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, do not give Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution .
• Your child should continue to take plenty of fluids while taking Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution .
• Do not take Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution in more than the recommended doses.
• Do not give your child any other oral medications one hour prior to and one hour following the administration of Pegnova Sugar Free Oral Solution .
• Store reconstituted solution in a refrigerator (2-8°C) for up to 24 hours.
