Pilorute-EP Tablet is used to manage and treat haemorrhoids, commonly known as piles. The detailed uses are as follows:

• Haemorrhoids (piles): It may help relieve symptoms such as rectal bleeding, itching, and pain during bowel movements. Some early evidence suggests it may also help reduce swelling associated with haemorrhoids. It is generally used for Grade I–II haemorrhoids to help manage symptoms such as bleeding, pain, and discomfort, while Grade III–IV haemorrhoids may require additional treatments, such as procedures or surgery, depending on severity and response to treatment. 
   

Pilorute-EP Tablet brings real-world relief by targeting the root causes of hemorrhoidal discomfort. This medicine brings several key health benefits:

• Reduces rectal bleeding: It may help reduce bleeding during bowel movements and relieve anxiety. Reduced bleeding over time may theoretically lower the risk of iron-deficiency anaemia, although this has not been established for this medicine.
• Relieves pain and swelling: It may help reduce swelling and throbbing pain, making sitting, standing, and walking more comfortable.
• Helps prevent recurrence: Some early evidence suggests it may support blood vessel health, which may help reduce the recurrence of haemorrhoid symptoms. Further research is needed to confirm this benefit.

• Avoid straining: Do not strain or hold your breath during bowel movements, as this increases pressure on the rectal veins and can worsen piles.
• Use warm sitz baths: Sit in a tub of warm water for 15 to 20 minutes two to three times a day to soothe the anal region, reduce pain, and improve local blood circulation.
• Avoid prolonged sitting: Take regular breaks to walk around if you work at a desk, as sitting for long periods puts extra pressure on the veins in your lower body.
