Prugo Syrup is indicated in the management of anxiety, pruritus due to allergic conditions, and control of nausea and vomiting (excluding nausea and vomiting of pregnancy). Besides this, it is also used as a pre-surgery medication, such as in preparation for dental procedures.
Prugo Syrup contains Hydroxyzine, which works by blocking the action of histamine receptors responsible for allergic symptoms.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Prugo Syrup is known to interact with QT/QTc-prolonging medications, CYP3A4 inhibitors, heart medications (quinidine), anticholinergics (benztropine, scopolamine), or antipsychotics (chlorpromazine, risperidone).
Drug-Food interactions: Avoid consuming grapefruit, its juice or its products during treatment with Prugo Syrup as it may increase the plasma concentration of hydroxyzine.
Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have QT/QTc prolongation, an irregular heartbeat, heart problems, or low levels of potassium or magnesium.
