Pulmark-Plus Tablet 10's

Pulmark-Plus Tablet is primarily used to prevent and treat symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as shortness of breath, coughing, or wheezing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes).

Pulmark-Plus Tablet is a combination of Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine. Acebrophylline works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Acetylcysteine works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose.

Some people may experience diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, a runny nose, dizziness, heartburn, stomach pain, skin rash, drowsiness, and cool and moist skin. Most of these side effects of Pulmark-Plus Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take Pulmark-Plus Tablet with or without food. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Pulmark-Plus Tablet based on your medical condition. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break the medicine.

If you are allergic to Pulmark-Plus Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Pulmark-Plus Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet . If you have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), irregular heartbeats, viral infections, heart failure, asthma, high blood pressure, fits, gastric or duodenal ulcers, heart diseases, or kidney or liver insufficiency, inform your doctor before taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet .

• Pulmark-Plus Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
• It is usually taken once daily, preferably in the evening, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Pulmark-Plus Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Pulmark-Plus Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine. Acebrophylline belongs to the class of bronchodilators with additional mucolytic properties, and acetylcysteine belongs to the class of mucolytic agents.
• Pulmark-Plus Tablet breakdown the acid mucopolysaccharide fibers that make the mucus (sputum) thinner and less dense/viscous removing sputum efficiently by coughing.
• However, the viscosity of sputum remains low for as long as treatment is maintained. Together, they help to cough out easily and make breathing easier by opening airways.
• Pulmark-Plus Tablet is also indicated for the regular treatment of moderate to severe COPD in patients who experience frequent symptoms and have a history of exacerbation.
• It reduces airway inflammation and prevents bronchospasm.

• If you are allergic to Pulmark-Plus Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
• Severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome (a serious and rare disorder of skin and mucus membranes) or toxic epidermal necrolysis (skin blistering or skin peeling) have been reported in some patients.
• If you notice any skin rash worsening with mucosal lesions or blisters, stop taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet and contact your doctor immediately.
• Do not take Pulmark-Plus Tablet if you have a heart rhythm disorder that causes fast heartbeats.
• Avoid taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet if you have low blood pressure, irregular heartbeats, hemodynamic instability (unstable blood pressure), a heart attack, or kidney or liver diseases.
• If you have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), irregular heartbeats, viral infections, heart failure, asthma, high blood pressure, fits, gastric or duodenal ulcers, heart diseases, or kidney or liver insufficiency, inform your doctor before taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet .
• Pulmark-Plus Tablet is not recommended for children under 14.
• Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood.
• Pulmark-Plus Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
• If you are breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before taking Pulmark-Plus Tablet .
