Qilcer Collagen Particles 10 ml is composed of Collagen, Metronidazole, and Mupirocin. Collagen promotes wound healing by laying down a collagen matrix in the wound bed, thus aiding the formation of granulation tissue (new connective tissue) and epithelialization (repairing the wounded area). Metronidazole belongs to the class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It exerts bactericidal (kills bacteria) action and inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis and cell growth. Mupirocin is an antibacterial drug. It prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out their vital functions, thus preventing bacterial growth.
