About Qupex 50 mg Tablet
Qupex 50 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bipolar depression, mania and schizophrenia. Bipolar disorder is characterised by manic episodes of excitement or euphoria and depression. Schizophrenia is characterised by symptoms of hallucinations.
Qupex 50 mg Tablet contains ‘quetiapine’, an antipsychotic drug, which works by affecting chemicals in the brain such as dopamine and serotonin. Thereby, it improves thinking, mood and behaviour.
Common side effects of Qupex 50 mg Tablet are dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, abnormal muscle movements, a change in cholesterol levels, weight gain, and a decrease in haemoglobin. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.
