Racejan O Syrup

Racejan O Syrup is indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea in children. Diarrhoea occurs when there is a frequent need to empty the bowels, which is characterized by loose and watery stools.

Racejan O Syrup contains Ofloxacin and Racecadotril. Ofloxacin prevents the growth of bacteria, and Racecadotril reduces the hypersecretion of water into the intestines. Together, Racejan O Syrup helps treat diarrhoea.

In some cases, Racejan O Syrup may cause side effects such as headache, sleepiness, fatigue, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and may be resolved over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

• Racejan O Syrup can be given to your child with or without food, preferably with food to reduce stomach discomfort.

• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Give the prescribed dose to your child by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided with the pack.
